Significant savings for payers

There are 18 million avoidable hospital ER visits each year,
adding $32 billion in costs to the US Health Care System.

Tele911™ is the solution

Tele911 offers significant cost savings for Participating Health Plans via our safe, HIPAA compliant software platform with our integrated state-of-the-art Tele911 Virtual Visits, providing in-network alternatives to medically unnecessary ambulance transports of stable 911 patients to costly hospital ERs.

What is a Tele911™ Participating Health Plan?

Participating Health Plans have a secure, HIPAA compliant interface with the Tele911 Health Plan Portal to verify member eligibility, manage plan-specific, in-network Alternate Destinations, and receive notifications when their members receive 911 medical services.

Only Participating Health Plan members receive Tele911™ services. Any health plan can become a Participating Health Plan, including State, Federal, Commercial, Employer, and Union plans. If a patient’s health plan is not a Participating Health Plan, or the patient has no health plan, then the patient will be evaluated by First Responders on scene and transported to the nearest appropriate ER per existing protocols.

Treatment in Place

The patient is treated and released at home when the Tele911™ Emergency Physician determines that no further medical evaluation is required.

Participating Health Plans agree to reimburse the Tele911™ partner EMS Provider Agency for their 911 response instead of transport.

Participating Health Plans achieve significant cost savings by avoiding unnecessary and costly hospital ER and facility charges.

Ambulance transport to an Alternate In-Network Destination

The patient is transported to an in-network urgent care clinic, mental health facility, or sobering center.

Participating Health Plans achieve significant cost savings by avoiding unnecessary hospital ER and facility charges.

Transport to an in-network ER

The Tele911™ Emergency Physician determines that the patient requires ER evaluation but is stable for transport to an in-network ER.

Participating Health Plans reimburse the EMS Provider Agency for ambulance transport.

Participating Health Plans achieve significant cost savings by avoiding out-of-network ER and facility charges.

Participating Health Care Plans realize significant cost savings by their members avoiding expensive, unnecessary ER visits.

Members receive a high level of care with the convenience of being treated at home, while First Responders return to service more quickly to save lives and better serve their community.

Welcome to the future of EMS: The time is now.
